Do all Germans lack irony, or is it just Arsenal’s no.2 Torwart, Jens Lehmann?
“I don’t know what the last weeks (of the season) will bring,” Lehmann said. “I wanted to win the Champions League and thought I had a good chance of playing. The fact that I won’t now get that chance makes me furious.”
Jens might wonder if Wenger the Voyeur plays Almunia because Jens is such a fucking head-case.
“I don’t find it very funny to be kept out by someone who is just starting to play at the age of 30. If the trainer had told me the situation before the start of season I could have decided if I wanted to sit on the bench or not.”

And its been that way all season, so why did he expect a recall now?

Jens is as crazy and grumpy as always. What else is new?
To be fair, I do believe it’s not sporting issues that are keeping him off the team, but personality/team chemistry ones. Which just makes it worse, because then Lehmann feels that a grave injustice has been done to him, he’ll spout off even more, and it’ll all just get worse.
