C-Ron’s Tum Tum is All Better
By: Daryl | February 18th, 2008
Lyon fans may have seen Cristiano Ronaldo sitting out Man Utd’s 4-0 FA Cup win over Arsenal and hoped maybe there was something wrong with the lad. Maybe there was more to it than just Fergie giving his golden boy a little rest. And turns out there was. C-Ron apparently had a stomach upset, which I’m guessing would have made it difficult to do all those stepovers.
“I was thinking about resting him anyway and perhaps put him on the bench, but when we found out he wasn’t well, we decided to give him a complete break,” is how Fergie sees it.
The bad news for Lyon fans and defenders is that C-Ron’s poorly tum-tum is all better now and he’ll be available to terrorize fullbacks in Wednesday’s game in France. Bad news for Darren Fletcher though. Despite his two goal performance against Arsenal, the Scot is likely to lose his starting spot.
For the record: We’ve received a ton of applications from potential co-pilots for this blog. I’m not the new blogger, I’m just filling in.

Oh well. At least Fletch’s goals show George Burley he’s not getting rusty down there in Manchester.

Selection headache for Fergie. Even Avaram has the same problem. Fletcher should retain his position
