Do You Miss Special One?

By: Sam | April 15th, 2008

JoseThere’s a good career profile of Jose Mourinho over here. I don’t know about you, but this year has had a … what? … bit of a void … without the Special One.

Knowing he’s a family man, this year off will have been a healthy one; and will assure he’s back with full ch’i (Qi).

But where?

My guess is it’s Inter (the Nerazzuri), who will be even more visible, late, in the Champions League 2009 (with Lampard aboard, “of course”).

Let’s see if his talent for sound-bites, personal magnetism & footballing passion & curiosity don’t bring him to Italy’s Serie A — which could use such a competitive lift to bring the big Italian clubs level with the standard we are seeing from the English in the Champions League this year. (Do you think there’s any connection?)

Actually he just signed a deal with Portuguese TV1 to commentate during the Portuguese games for the Euro2008. Maybe he’ll announce where he heads next during Portugal’s finals win this summer?
