I do think that the Champions League is guarenteed excitement in a sense - I can't really think of anything better than the best club teams in Europe playing against each other. But on the other hand the UEFA cup, or whatever its to be renamed, is an absolute joke as it stands. However if you had a Champions League say for..Champions, then the UEFA cup would have this season; Chelsea, Arsenal, Villereal, Barca, Roma, Juve, just out of the big three leagues. That would advance the UEFA cup somewhat I reckon. I think it'd also add an edge to the CL. I mean Barca vs Man United to take this years Semi-Final was so exciting, but it'd be so much more exciting if it only happened once every three or four years because they actually have to win thier leagues, If that makes sense.
