I was always thought Jose never really wanted Ballack. Maybe he played him in a more defensive role? Even though he was not up to the standards last year. He hardly benched Ballack. Whereas Avram benched Ballack on numerous occasions in favor of Lampard. And Avaram chose Jose's successful 4-3-3 formation when the pressure of playing Sheva was off his head.Its no brainer that Ballack and Lampard are playing so well together. Fabio take a note.
