Moribund the ‘Boro-meister

By: Sam | April 6th, 2008

Luke Young versus C-RonBeing in the Champions League race can make quotidian league play seem beside the point. How else could Middlesbrough ever boss the match and tie the “best team in Europe” — two all?

United are thinking ahead to AS Roma on Wednesday.

Here Luke Young, one of England’s promising natives, & Gary O’Neil perform a mugging on C-Ron, who looks about to flop.

Rio Ferdinand limped off at minute 69. Sans Vidic too, the United back four will be softer this week. Perhaps 2-2 v ‘Boro reflects the importance of the Vidic-Ferdinand partnership to United’s pluck.

If Rio is out of the Roma game that’s going to change the game, I thought he was huge in the first leg.

Mind you, its looking like Totti will still be out as well.
