Predictions: No numbers just scorelines

By: Adam | April 29th, 2008

Aha…so yet again we fall into the mired trap of predictions. Last time none of us got everything right, still we want try our mettle once again. As usual its joint venture post by every CL blogger. So lets see how well we predict this time. By the way before submitting your predictions, do read some in depth previews by Rob. It might help for predictions.

MAN UTD. vs BARCELONA
Adam: 1 - 1
Rob: 2 - 2
Sam: 3 - 0

CHELSEA vs LIVERPOOL
Adam: 2 - 0
Rob: 2 - 1
Sam: 2 - 1

Interesting. Isn’t it? I have predicted the safest scoreline for today’s semi. I think both the teams have incendiary attackers to score lods of goals, but everyone seem to forget that they have great defenders too. Rob seems to think that it will be 4 goals thriller wherein Barca catch the plane to Moscow on away goals. From scoreline I can assume Rob wants to drink a lot today. Is it the case Rob? Sam goes for 3-0 thrashing by Man Utd. Sam, are you sure about it?

For Chelsea game everyone seems to be unanimous on Chelsea victory. Both Sam and Rob think that Chelsea are unbeatable at home hence they will definitely win. And they both think it will 2-1 for Chelsea. But according to me Liverpool’s jinx of not scoring goal at Stamford Bridge (during Rafa’s time) will continue. This time they are extremely close to break that “zero” goal record but I think Chelsea’s defense is good enough to guard their goal against Nando. But records are made to be broken. May be Liverpool will win with couple of goals scored over there.

Do you agree?

I think I’ll need more of a drink during tomorrow’s game to be quite honest.

Oh and I think tomorrow’s game there is a real possibility of a 1-0 to Chelsea. But I am hoping for a more interesting game than that.

None of us got anything right today though, So Liverpool probably stand to win.
