The Other Photo Of The Day: Who’s a Diver?
By: Rob | April 30th, 2008After Rafa Benitez tried to influence the ref earlier in the week by saying us that Drogba was ‘theatrical’ (well, duh) the Ivory Coast hitman reacted in exactly the right way, not only putting in a fantastic performance, but paying respect to another striker often accused of diving - Jurgan Klinsmann - with his goal celebration.
The Real Photo of the day is here.

Quite right, Rob.
Looks as though Rafa’s wind-up backfired, only to produce the requisite motivation for DD.
A tart finish, it was. And the Lampard pen was a piece of Stoic professionalism. Babel’s excellent goal is totally overshadowed by the occasion’s result.

Massive admiration for Lamps for banging in that pen. Lesser men would have crumbled.
Babel’s goal was odd, it seemed like Cech thought he pushed it round the post. On first look, he seemed to have to hands to it. Not that it mattered in the end.

On his day, he can just “tear down” the defenses.

The trouble is, he’s a tempremental sod. If Drogba is fired up, he looks impressive, but he does need to be fired up. Unfortunatly for Liverpool, Rafa did just that.
